Tell us what happened

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Tonewisp version, selected channel and pattern, and the steps that led to the issue. For Watch issues, include the Watch model and watchOS version. Please leave out sensitive health information. If you are testing through TestFlight, you can also send feedback there.

How do I get a different composition?

Tap Next on the player or inside Visuals. Tonewisp generates another composition and chooses a different pattern family. In Sound layers, choose an instrument palette or song pattern yourself, or leave them on Automatic to explore the library.

Do I need headphones?

Ordinary music and noise work with speakers or headphones. Binaural tones require stereo headphones to present different tones to each ear. Use a comfortable listening volume. You can turn binaural tones and beta pulses Off, use Auto, or keep them steadily On.

How do timers and work breaks work?

Use the session timer to fade and stop playback after a chosen duration. Work & recover offers separate work and recovery periods with an explicit On/Off state. Choose a recovery sound in the same settings; choosing a sound alone does not enable the cycle.

Why is Heart sync not showing a reading?

Heart sync needs a paired Apple Watch, Health permission and a live session. Stop other workouts, open Tonewisp on your Watch, and follow the Heart sync controls in iPhone Sound layers and on Watch. Wear the Watch snugly and keep it connected to your iPhone. Readings can take time to arrive. When readings become stale or the connection is lost, the music returns toward its usual channel tempo. Music plays on iPhone, not on Watch.

How do I stop Heart sync?

Stop Heart sync in the app or pause the listening session. You can also revoke Health access through Apple's settings. Heart sync uses a Mind & Body session that may affect Activity rings; Tonewisp discards it rather than saving a workout.

How do I reduce movement or remove my data?

Visuals offers Subtle movement and Still image options, and respects the system Reduce Motion setting. You can delete saved sessions and clear focus check-ins in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device. See the privacy policy for information about backups and support messages.

Is Tonewisp a medical app?

No. Tonewisp provides music and general-wellness listening experiences. It does not diagnose, monitor or treat medical conditions, and does not promise improvements in cognition, sleep or health. Its Watch readings influence music only.

Free listening and Tonewisp Plus

The upcoming public release includes 30 minutes of free listening each day on each device, across all channels. Active playback includes recovery periods; pausing stops the allowance counter. The allowance resets on a new local calendar day. Tonewisp Plus provides unlimited listening with a monthly subscription. The US price is $3.99 per month; the app shows your App Store's local price before purchase. There are no ads or automatic paid upgrades from free listening.

Restore or cancel a subscription

Open Tonewisp Plus from the home screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account used to subscribe. An active subscription unlocks listening on your compatible devices using that account. To cancel, choose Manage subscription in Tonewisp Plus, or open iPhone Settings, tap your name, and select Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com. TestFlight and Xcode test purchases do not charge real money.
